Concrete products

Concrete is the most widely used man-made building material in the world, composed ofbinder(usually cement),water,aggregates(sand and stone) andadmixturesmixed in appropriate proportions. Core components：

• Cement: Responsible for binding everything together. The most commonly used type is Portland cement.
• Aggregates: *Fine aggregate: Sand, which fills the gaps between the stones. *Coarse aggregate: Stones (crushed stone or pebbles), which provide the main compressive strength.
• Water: Triggers the hydration reaction of the cement. The water-cement ratio (the ratio of water to cement) directly determines the final strength of the concrete.
• Admixtures: Added in very small quantities but with significant effects, such as water-reducing agents (to increase strength), retarders (to extend setting time) or accelerators (for rapid hardening), as well as other admixtures.
